Wireless (without cable) data transmission systems

Thanks to electronic developments, wireless data transmission is now possible. This allows continuous monitoring of the internal temperature of the chambers, the moisture content of the material to be dried and all other important parameters. The advantage of wireless communication is that this eliminates contact errors and the possibility of cable damage which can  occur in the case of wired systems.

Radio frequency wireless sensors based on Logica’s H&S System have many advantages:

Because of the absence of cables, the sensors can be easily placed on the material inside the drying chamber, avoiding the cost of repairing or replacing damaged cables.

Moisture meters
The moisture measuring instruments we sell are also suitable for measuring the surface and / or depth of solid wood, veneer, shaving, dust and other materials (mortar, concrete, leather).

LG6NG – moisture meter

This instrument allows a quick moisture measurement and without damaging the wood in 7 density ranges.

LG18 – moisture meter

This is an advanced version of the LG6 instrument with an additional 5 measuring ranges for building materials.

LG43 – pin type moisture meter

LG43 is a resistance (pin – type) moisture meter, which can be used for a variety of materials like wood, building materials, leather, paper. The timber moisture indication is automatically compensated on basis of the timber temperature, which can be set manually. An additional, optional sensor (SPF) is available to measure the sawdust moisture. If equipped with the optional RH/T sensor, LG43 becomes a complete diagnostic instrument for the kiln dryer, able to measure the air temperature and relative humidity.

LG40 – Multipurpose digital instrument

The LG40 digital multifunction meter can be used as a reference thermometer for use with plant health ISPM 15 standard (heat treatment).
